WHAT I ATE WEDNESDAY!

So this is my first WIAW! A lot of bloggers do it and it basically is what is is...I show you what i ate on wednesday. Hopefully some of the food will help you with ideas for healthy eating. But unfortunately sometimes life isn't as healthy as you would like it to be..like this wednesday i went out for lunch with some family. But atleast you know even healthy freaks like me do now how to splurge every now and again!

Breakfast: Porridge oats with light unsweetened soya milk (mum and i trying to go vegan because of our love of animals) 2 tsp maple syrup, handful of blueberries and a mug of green tea.
Mid morning: Costa soya milk latte with sugar free caramel syrup.

Lunch: Veggie burger with ketchup, chips and salad. Bottle of water. ( not goooood!! )

Mid afternoon: After my work out on the treadmill vita coco coconut water peach and mango flavour.
Dinner: Wholewheat pasta with tofutti creamy smooth garlic and herb thingy (like philadelphia but vegan) onions, spinach, tomato, basil and a dairy free substitute of mozzarella. Glass of water.

Late evening: tiny bowl of eat natural gluten free toasted meusli and a green tea.

Thoughts of the day: I'm not going to lie i probably have porridge every day, its nice and simple and tastes amazing with soya milk and maple syrup! I might change it up a bit next week tho :) I love that costa do soya milk and sugar free caramel syrup but not loving that the soya milk there is full fat!! Lunch was just bad bad bad, i do believe in eating naughty food atleast 10% of the time or you crave it more but this was very processed! I chose this because it was the most vegan thing on the menu but I would have been better of choosing eggs on wholemeal toast for health benefits. Coconut water...erghh, i dont think it tastes great but its amazing for after or during a workout for recovery and if you get flavoured coconut water it does taste better, but i'd like to try and wean myself off the flavoured and stick to pure coconut water. Dinner was sooo tasty! But i am obsessed with pasta (aslong as its wholemeal/wholegrain!) and i add spinach to everything. Eat natural toasted meusli is delicioussss. AND MY FINAL ADVICE..DRINK GREEN TEA! :) (my mum cant stand it! lol)

Thanks for reading x

Tracy Anderson method dance cardio workout review!

Well what can I say! I cant say much after doing 2 minutes of this workout I am completely out of breath!
I have had this dvd for a long time now and I keep going back to it to try it again and again but I always give up.
It doesn't say anywhere in the dvd that if you are a beginner then this is not for you. Infact what it should say is even if you are not a beginner this still isn't for you!
I have danced my whole life and i still found this very hard.
After doing one song out of all of them (there is loads!) and it being 5 minutes long of non stop jumping around I gave up as im sure anyone would especially someone without experience!
I also find some of what she does a little dangerous. There seems to be a lot of focus on the calf muscles (lots of jumping) and not much else. She does a lot of stretching in the warm up when you aren't even warm yet which was a killer on the muscles.
The way the workouts are set up is about 8 songs which last about 5 minutes long. You learn all the routines (which takes forever even for an experienced dancer).
The short routine for each song is just repeated until the song is finished. YES that is boring! doing the same thing over and over again just thinking in your head when will this end!?!
After the first song the next one comes straight away then onto the next routine which is repeated for the whole ridiculously long song etc etc..
You are dieing after one song let alone all of them and she wants you to try and do all of them!
The songs are also very random, ones you would have never heard before that also repeat themselves throughout.
She asks you to do this workout...and do nothing else! I am totally against this.
You need variety to succeed i got bored doing this workout for 5 minutes, god knows how i would feel if it was the only exercise i got.
She has tried to make it a dance style workout to make you lean not bulky, but when you think of dance you think of fun, and this certainly isn't that fun!
I would only recommend this workout to someone who is SUPER SUPER SUPER fit and experienced or has the patience to get fit and be bored at the same time OR who doesn't mind getting injured..!
