Manic Monday

Hi!!! Long time no speak. Before you read this remember I am no journalist/writer...writing is not my forte! This is just me sharing my story just incase anyone is interested lol!
I had 10 New Years resolutions this year. Two of them I am going to share with you!
1. Run marathon
2. Be happy with body/ fitter and healthier.
I am going to write about my weightloss/marathon training story with you from now on.
Don't get me wrong i'm not saying I NEED to lose weight but I want to lose weight to be happier. My weight is perfectly healthy for my age and height but could be even healthier ;)
As a fitness instructor I will always be wanting almost perfect fitness and body.
I'm going to share with you things such as:
My diet
My exercise
Weight/measurements/fat percentage
And just generally what I'm thinking or feeling
So it's a Monday morning, perfect time to start my fitness journey.
Today I look like this....

I don't dislike my body at all. My aim is to be fitter healthier and just improve what I would LIKE to improve. My aim looks wise is to slim down at the waist/hips/thighs and lift everywhere/increase muscle tone

Weight: 9 stone 7 pounds (half a stone heavier than before Christmas..eughh)
Fat percentage: 26% (6% more than before Christmas...eughh)
Bust: 35.5"
Waist: 28.5"
Gut (biggest part of stomach, completely relaxed of course no sucking in haha): 34.5"
Hips: 38"
Thigh: 22.5"
Calf: 14.5"
Arm: 11.5"

So that's all my details today! This is how they fit in to what is healthy for my height and age:

Sorry the chart is hard to see but if you go to my height 5.5" and weight of 9 and a half stone I am in the healthy part. So my aim is to be on the lower part of the healthy section not the top end :)

Classification Women (% fat) Men (% fat)
Essential Fat 10-12%         2-4%
Athletes         14-20%        6-13%
Fitness.         21-24%.     14-17%
Acceptable        25-31%        18-25%
Obese.            32% plus       25% plus

This table shows that my fat percentage is acceptable, but that's just not good enough for me! I want to be in the fitness section :)

My exercise today:
1 mile on the treadmill at 7kmph
10 minutes of muscle toning

My food and drink intake today:
Breakfast- One and a half slices of wholemeal toast with all natural crunchy peanut butter
One hot cross bun with anchor butter
One large mug of green tea with lemon
Morning snack- One bottle of water and vitamins (vit c, vit b, echinacea, b propolis and omega)
Lunch- a wholemeal bread sandwich with cheese and pickle
Green tea
Rolo cookie
Afternoon snack- a few guylian chocolates
Dinner- pesto pasta with broccoli and pine nuts and water
Evening snacks- cup of green tea  peanut butter M&ms

My thoughts on the whole day:
Breakfast-not bad but not great either! Would normally have porridge and fruit but none in the house!
Lunch- not good really but will blame it on not been food shopping yet and also that time of the month ladies ;)
Dinner- pretty good!
Snacks- very naughty!! But it's that time of the month.. (Excuses excuses hehe) very proud at the amount of green tea intake..very good for you!
Exercise- disappointing but didnt have much time today (hence manic monday title) also after being very ill with tonsillitis for 2 weeks it put me back to square one with running..definitely just focussing on being able to do the marathon, not how quick I can do it in haha

Overall it hasn't been a great day exercise or food wise BUT tomorrow is another day and it will only get better from here :D
